Dr. Teresa Walters (described by the New York Times as “The International First Lady of Piano”) performs on our series as part of her worldwide Celebration of Light Tour honoring the 800th Anniversary of the Canticle of the Sun written by St. Francis of Assisi in 1225. In music and spoken word, her universal program includes Liszt’s majestic Canticle of the Sun.

Teresa Walters performs in all the world’s great concert halls. Austrian National Television labels her “one of the world’s most significant pianists.” Her stunning performances at Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall and the International Diplomatic Corps in Copenhagen made headlines: “Her Fingers Give Off Sparks and She Takes the Keyboard into Orbit.” (Budapest Sun).

Teresa is also recognized for her shining Christian faith and world view. Her concerts are an inspiring mix of brilliant virtuosity and spirituality. Japan’s leading music magazine wrote: “The audience left with a feeling of ecstasy, so spiritually powerful was her performance.”
